Hoodie Allen is similar to G-Eazy in that I label him as one of those white college rappers even though both have matured out of that label. Both have major releases finally upon them this year. G-Eazy has his here in a couple of weeks while Hoodie has his coming up in September I believe. Either way, Hoodie doesn’t seem to be too impressed with his boy G-Eazy’s buzz lately as he’s taken to the internet to release a song that is rare for him. Rare in the form that most Hoodie Allen songs have a pop sense to his rap where as this particular song sees Hoodie going HAM and swinging all over G-Eazy on top of one of Illmind‘s sick beats. It’s obvious Hoodie doesn’t want to be forgotten in all this G-Eazy publicity blitz. And rightfully so. See what you think
