Old school Disney fans remember Wuzzles from back in 1985. Old school rap fans remember Snoop Dogg from Dr. Dre’s album The Chronic from 1992. Old school TV fans remember Aubrey Graham from Degrassi: The Next Generation in the early 2000s. And new school people in general might not even know about Cori B. Regardless, it’s 2013. Wuzzles have been replaced by Handy Manny. Snoop Dogg goes by Snoop Lion. Aubrey Graham now goes by Drake and raps. And Cori B. if you didn’t know is Calvin Cordozar Broadus, Jr.’s (Snoop Dogg, Snoop Lion) daughter.
Whew! Catch all that?
Anyways. I guess Snoop (insert favourite animal here) has reneged on his previous stance on guns. Where as he used to be a big player in the 90’s West Coast / East Coast gangster rivalry, I guess he’s against it now. And Drake shows us a new side of himself as he reflects on personal experiences from last summer’s Toronto shooting. It’s a pretty good song. And to top it all off, Major Lazer is one of the producers. Enjoy the song below, then catch last week’s live performance on Connan after the jump. And if you like what you hear, be sure to mark your calendar for April 23 when Snoop Lion’s album Reincarnated comes out
