Glasscandy Doesn’t Taste Good, But It Sounds Amazing

feelingwithouttouching

When I first heard the term glass candy, my mind immediately ran to director Tom Tykwer’s 2000 film Princess and the Warrior where a blind patient is shown eating broken shards of a light bulb. But thank god that’s not what it is. Instead it’s a Portland band that’s been around since 1996 who just had a song featured in Paris fashion week. And I must admit, it’s a song that makes you want to put your shades on and walk slow motion down the sidewalk with a limp to make a pimp envious. And it wouldn’t matter the stares, because in your world, which is engulfed with the sultry sexy swagadelic sounds of Ida No and Johnny Jewel, every things alright.

alright indeed.
